Drake’s ‘Views’ Tops the Charts for Eleventh Week

Drake remains at the top of the charts with his latest album “Views,” the eleventh time since its release on April 29. According to Nielsen Music, “Views” sold 89,000 copies in the last week, with 64% of the album sales coming from streaming, Billboard notes. Nielsen Music counts 1500 track streams as equivalent to one album sale. The last artist to chart an album at No. 1 for 11 weeks was Taylor Swift with her record “1989″ and the last album to chart for more than 11 weeks was the “Frozen” soundtrack in 2014, with 13 weeks on top. In the last twenty years, just seven other albums have spent as many weeks at No. 1 as “Views.”
